Ellison Cribb was born and raised in South Carolina. He graduated from Georgetown High School in 1990 and joined the Marine Corps. After 3 months on Parris Island for Boot Camp, he was assigned to his next duty station for training at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
After completion of several schools, he was assigned to a Surveillance and Target Acquisition (STA) Platoon. Ellison spent his first four years with this unit, deploying in support of several operations including Operation Restore Hope, Operation Continue Hope, and JTF 160. He also participated in joint training with units from France, England, Saudi Arabia, and Israel. Ellison continued his career in the Marine Corps as a Marksmanship Instructor on Parris Island.
His last assignment was as a STA platoon SGT, where he deployed to Iraq. After retiring in 2005, Ellison moved back home to SC where he worked as an Electrical Contractor for many years. In 2008, he married the love of his life, Anna, and together formed a blended family of 6. Currently, you can find Ellison in Naples FL where he is living out his dream as a Fishing Charter Captain.
