Founder and Co-Founder

Duke and Kara Davis both understand the mission as they have faced transitioning from the military personally. Duke is a retired Marine Scout Sniper of 23 years. While serving multiple combat tours overseas, Kara was left to execute the mission at home. As they transitioned, they found life to be a little tough, but understood that they had to help others not make the same mistakes they had made along the way. Both are veterans of the nonprofit sector. They both served on the national staff of Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Duke as the national programs’ director and Kara as the Equipment facilitator managing over two hundred programs with an annual budget of 3.2 million dollars. In 2019 Duke became the CEO of Healing Towers in Ketchikan, Alaska where he served in that role until December 2022. Knowing that they had gained the required leadership and financial experience, they founded Restoration Inc.
